To finish the unit and to celebrate our success by creating amazing toile ideas we had the exhibition open for everyone in University to come and see what we achieved.
The space and date for exhibition was already chosen. Now we had to decide how we will place all the posters on the walls and take care about promotion and refreshments.
In this case we created the group on Facebook where veryone could express their opinion and share their thoughts. After a talk with everyone in the meeting we decide the main elements of the exhbition which were posted on Facebook to be visible for eveyone.

Anna was responsible to create the poster design for exhibition. This is the first attempt:
After some considerations we decided to change it as background was too pale so toiles disappeared in this bakground:
This poster design became the last and final. Now was time to create an event on Facebook and promote the exhibition:
We also hang some poster in the University to make sure that all students from different course can see it. We send the emails to veryone on breo by invinting students to visit our exhibtion and see what we done. Refreshment would be provided.
On the exhibition day everyone came in the morning and started to set up the exhbition space. First of all, we put the small sticky papers on the wall with name of the student to see in which order all the posters will be displayed. After we done that, we started to measure the wall to make sure that all the poster are in the same high and in straight line – for that we used masking tape which was as a line marking the poster hanging place.
After the posters were all on the walls we started to prepare the table for refreshments.
We left some free space on the wall where we had a projector with video of our toiles, working process and some snaps from workshops.
And finally the open of the exhibition started. Mainly all the students and tutors came on the first hour of exhibition. It was nice to see how they carefully look and discussed every poster. Even us had a chance to see everyone work and compare your work with others. To get some ideas and see how could you improve your poster for next time. I took a photos of few my favorites posters. despite that I think everyone did a great job and exhibition by itself was smooth and successful. I am really glad I took this project and push my imagination boundaries much further and I understood that experimentation and imagination is very powerful and can create a wonderful things – the only thing you need to do is to not be afraid to take risk and just let your imagination flow.
